Vessel Inwards and Outwards formal clearance formalities
Vessels are required to provide a minimum of 96 hours advance notice of their intention to enter Fiji waters. We can make arrangements to clear your vessel at any of the Fiji Ports of Entry listed below and complete all paperwork in advance of your arrival.
SYSF is sometimes able to arrange Inbound clearance formalities at remote areas. This process requires the transportation of officials to the designated clearance point.
SYSF requires additional advance notice of this option
DOMESTIC PORT CLEARANCES
This has since been updated see superyachtfiji.com/news.php
Fiji Customs regulations currently require that vessels clear out/into Ports whilst cruising in Fiji Waters. This is a nuisance, but we need to adhere to the policy. For example, when you complete Fiji Inbound formalities, you will also be required to clear out of the Inbound Port and nominate the next Fiji port to clear into. This is a relatively simple process and usually does not involve Customs coming aboard at the next Inbound clearance port. It is a reporting formality only at this stage. Our recent discussions with Customs and the Ministry of Tourism indicate that this procedure is likely to be eliminated soon. SYSF can attend to all paper work required in advance.
